Whilst with full container movements the need for full case packing in a dedicated and properly loaded container for some destinations may not be as essential as it was years ago, there is no doubt that climatic protection is as important as ever. The humidity inside a container on a voyage with hot daytime temperature and cold nights can produce many gallons of water to form inside with potentially disastrous results for moisture sensitive equipment. Almost certainly with such damaged goods there may be no grounds for an Insurance claim as many marine policies specifically exclude corrosion.

We employ advanced corrosion preventative sprays that do not in many cases need to be removed prior to the equipment being placed into operation. We use only the best quality materials and foil laminates into which we hermetically seal equipment, and of course employ some of the most capable and best people to do the job. Not everything of course requires climatic protection. It may just be some form of protection and handling that is needed, perhaps to protect against damage whilst stowed or perhaps stacked in a consolidated container so as to ensure the safe arrival without damage at site. It could also be of course an out of gauge item of machinery that has to be shipped by a conventional method that needs special lifting arrangements to be employed. Special collection requests for trailer or low loader in the case of very heavy or over size pieces can be organized through our office and will be arranged through our hauliers.

On site packing and container loading can also be arranged for those customers who prefer that the equipment does not leave their premises or perhaps because the equipment is so delicate that movement is not recommended before packing.
